Conversation with Wisdom pt.2

Conversation with Wisdom pt.2

A Poem by J.A.Bentley
"

Second round of inward musings

"

Brilliance shimmering now

For gone are those surpassingly grey

clouds.

Splendorous radiant Son

has reached my eyes and beckons

"come."

A door, The door has been opened

with joy as my mantle

I enter in.

Amen.

So what does it take to be a man?

A little strength of back?

Even a bull has that.

No.

A little more than a lot cash?

Even cash fades to black.

No.

So what then?

What makes the man a man?

What makes him lead where others can't?

What gives him the heart to lend a hand?

What is...within?

Friend, it is the simplest and smallest detail,

But yet decides between heaven and hell.

It makes the humblest man strong

and gives strength where there once was none.

One small hint,

Starts with S

ends with Pirit
