Stained Glass WindowA Poem by J.A.BentleyI wrote this to an old friend who thought he knew LovePerhaps you know Love perhaps I am wrong but this I know that not too long ago my heart was a broken song and broken glass bottles
I am in repair from twenty years worth damage but this I know that not too long ago I was wed in marriage to my faithful Lord Jesus
Now I must admit of a love that you so casually remit that any love outside of this is a candle not worth to be lit or lips not worth the kiss
To know love... is to love death... the death of you... so that you may be made a Beautiful Stained Glass Window.
In love that I pray you understand and your days find truth, Jon © 2011 J.A.Bentley |
