The Upcoming Cast

This was a challenge poem written for memorial day

Untold fallen tell a tale 
countless told
Unsung heroes sing a song
sung since long ago
The wave's first crest is the same as the last
As with death 
Always left in the past
The fallen will be remembered 
by those who's pain is amplified by sorrow
only with the memory of those 
countless ranks that join them tomorrow.
