Wantrepreneur

 

I have been burned by the demon’s fires.

I hold my self to a higher standard.

Won’t associate with two faced liars,

And I let all believe when I’m slandered.

 

Imitators and jokers to be seen;

I now find as a form of flattery.

Napoleonic Tactics I have seen,

But they are just unsatisfactory.

 

Crucify me if it is fits your story,

Narcissistic lies I’ve lived through before.

No longer do I chase fame or glory,

That kind or motivation I abhor.

 

I’ll let the masses draw their conclusion,

Allow you to live your own delusion.

There is so much feeling and thought in this piece. At times we all evaluate some of our relations that aren’t great. Some hard to let go, but know in our hearts and minds, it is time to move on. I applaud anyone who sticks to their morals and lives a life with values.
