YarrowA Poem by J Todd Underhill01/07/2025A tear rolls down my cheek. A combination of sadness and joy. The passing of a soul so meek. From memories from when I was a boy.
Sad tales of growing up; The loss if childhood innocence. Songs of weaving sunshine to fill our cup. Lost to time’s impetus.
I wish you peace upon your journey, And I know the heavens have opened for you. Kiss Mary when again you get to see, And share with my mother a song or two.
Recordings will play on and on; As a constant reminder of what you gave. Alas tomorrow a new day will dawn, And you’ll live forever beyond the grave.
