Of My Domestic Goddess

Of My Domestic Goddess

My farm girl wife is just what I needed,

Seemingly made for this crazy poet.

All of my dreams in a woman were exceeded,

Daily and repeatedly, I try to show it.

This gift is something for young to aspire,

Now and forever my domestic goddess.

Stretching a penny until it is a copper wire,

And nothing at all can stop us.

She makes me want to be the best I can,

To succeed in everything that I try.

I constantly try to be a better man,

Every day until the day that I die.

Making me want to change Penny, Nickel, and Dime

Forever in love through the passage of time.

Finding a true gem who inspires us to be the best we can be is such a rarity. This is a very sweet poem.

The right person at your side can help you feel valued loved and accomplished a great many things. I love the way you have woven this tale and the stretching Penny into copper wire is a great line.
