Not White Trash

Not White Trash

Don’t call me a honky or cracker.

Hell yeah, I am redneck as you have heard.

I am not White trash and or Trailer slacker,

Those terms are as offensive as the N word.

Racism in my book is a two-way street.

No matter who is doing the discriminating.

It is something we should fight and defeat,

No matter who, prejudice is wholly irritating.

I take each human on the own merit,

No matter skin color, faith, or gender.

I hope my daughter did inherit,

And picks up the fight without surrender.

Cast your aspersions for I am impervious,

For you are the one being discourteous!
