Sonnet of an Outlaw PoetA Poem by J Todd UnderhillDon't look hereYes, I’m a standard American Somebitch, Doing my best for my community This life has thrashed me around quite a bit, But I hide my scars so no one will see. Raised in the wood then moved to the city, My redneck pride hidden beneath my tie. Crafting my word sometimes dark or witty, I’ll do so until the day I die. Outlaw poetry and spoken word art, Was my calling from a tender young age. Pearls of wisdom that I do impart, On the radio or coffee house stage. Oh, Hell yeah, I have my own unique way, And I give my all each and every day! 06/15/2023 © 2023 J Todd UnderhillAuthor's Note
