Without Repent

I am dangerous and twisted

Like a porcupine pretzel.

By my family I am black listed,

A proud sinner not regretful.

I have to be myself no matter what,

Madman and poet extraordinaire.

Don’t like it kiss my butt,

There is ample for the world to share.

Like me or not I do not care,

I like and write how I choose.

Burnt bridges I refuse to repair,

Still free from the speed and booze.

Never do I want to back slide,

I try to better myself each day.

Once again kiss my back side,

If you cannot accept my way.

The world made me who I am,

This poet with a manic grin.

I really don’t give a damn,

Where in this world I fit in.

Poetically shunned and I am Okay.

Writing to please only myself.

Lock in my basement I am proud to stay.

Adding to my own poetic wealth.
