A Madman’s Rambling

A Madman’s Rambling

The sunlight steams from east to west,

The morning spilling over the night.

I realize that I have been blessed,

Another day to choose the right.

I feel this morning after morning,

As I know I have a purpose here.

The feeling of the day aborning,

I go about my day without fear.

Back on my life’s path after a delay,

Sharing with the world my deep passion,

Diary entries in my own twisted way,

These little rhymes that I fashion.

No worries as I walk my route,

Just being the best that I can,

Are these words of wisdom I spout,

Just inane thoughts of a madman?

Either way it was meant to be,

I know that I need to pursue my craft,

Getting comfortable being me,

Though my siblings cajoled and laughed.

Embrace the day and your calling,

For you are given gifts for a reason.

Be who you are without stalling,

Anything else would be spiritual treason.

Realizing one's blessings is a key to freedom. Too many deal with the pains of the past or the lacks of the present.
