Good Morning SpringA Poem by J Todd Underhill03/28/2022Good morning Spring you have
returned once more, Spreading your splendor out
for all to see. Growth and renewal something
that I adore, Filling this poet’s spirit
up with glee. Good morning Spring, making
me feel manic, As the Winter Gray now melts
right away. The eruption of all things
botanic, A warming breeze causes the
trees to sway. Good morning Spring I have waited
since fall, For winter’s snow to turn
back into rain. Earth emerging from Death’s
annual call, Elation as longer days come
again. Winter’s gloom beginning to
subside, As the springtime shows her
colors with pride. 03/28/2022 © 2022 J Todd UnderhillFeatured Review
