My PeaceA Poem by J Todd UnderhillNaPoMo 01My peace Every time she kisses her April fool; I am the luckiest man alive, She makes me feel like I am Skipping school; With a single touch from my blushing bride. She is the angel sent down from heaven; To quell the demon deep within my soul. Farm girl wife for this redneck I reckon, Soothing peace for when I’m out of control. She’s the common sense for my manic brain; Even though I listen less than I should. Medication for this poet insane; Curing my evil with all of her good. Now I love my bride with all of my heart; She sends my heart rate right off of the chart. 04/01/2021 © 2021 J Todd UnderhillFeatured Review
