Love is the Answer… Always

How the world doth change as we grow,

From loving child to adulthood frustration.

We learn to be other than we know,

Changing from our blissful childhood elation.

Letting something other than our best side show.

 

Love is the Answer… Always

 

Waging war the lies and deceit,

Over what this poet humbly asks?

Satisfaction in destruction complete,

And then the inner evil unmasks.

Unto craters and crimson stains,

And spiritual shrapnel too.

Is the only thing that remains,

Hollowing out the inner you.

 

Love is the Answer… Always

 

Here is how you master this life so wild,

And claim victory from the jaws of defeat.

Love everyone like when you were a child,

With one that is pure, simple and sweet.

Keep thoughts of anger and greed exiled,

And life will be made more complete.
