Ever ThankfulA Poem by J Todd Underhill01/01/2018Now that you have opened my sinful eyes, I cannot unsee what I have now seen. Saving me from my spiritual demise, Disobedient since the age thirteen.
Christ’s blood now covering my unpaid debt, Washing away the wages of my sin. Scrubbing off actions that I now regret, Saving me from hell much to my chagrin.
I try to be the best I can each day, But every time I feel that I fall short. I try as I can to follow your way, But I cannot do it without support.
Within you grace I become so tranquil; Something for which I am ever thankful.
