Inspiration

When I see the summer breeze
Rush through the tops of the trees
I feel the spirit of a brand new day
Blow away the disappointments of yesterday

When a touch of discontentment shows
I ponder the beauty of a rose
There may be thorns that can cause pain
But the flowers that grow are caused by rain

Look at the birds up in the air
Soaring like they have not a care
Free in flight they go to and fro
Away from the evil that lurks below

In my head there’s a still calm voice
Telling me it’s time to make a choice
To dwell on the sorrow of days gone by
Or to take today and touch the sky

A mind that thinks can see these things
The Earth is One is the song life sings
Learn from the tree, the bird, and the flower
And the journey through life will bring you power
