The Train To Destiny

i wrote this when i was 18 so 4 or 5 years ago nd was going through severe teenage angst and depression. i wrote this in hospital after a bad breakup/breakdown. it was influenced by Fleetwood Mac

i had us i had it all

im still not sure what im searching for

im feeling out of place

and theres little space

left for me

 

now you live another life

im a foreigner

and a whisper in my ear

says "dont come near"

 

you run for cover

a sacred hideout

thunder and lightening

can you black it out

 

can you sence sedation with my every word

can you hear sedation can i be heard

so take me to the station

to catch the train to destiny

 

never to return

why should that be your concern

since im not gonna make your skin burn

and i want nothing in return
