Cinema Girl

It's an idea I've had for a while. It's based on my life working at West End (Now Carosel Cinemas Alamance Crossing). It's on where near done, but it's a start. This is just a basic plot line told though the eyes of Izzy(Me).

My name is Izzy and I am trapped in a dead end job. But it's been fun, for the most part. My time here has had its ups and downs as all jobs do. Let me tell you a little about me and how I ended up here at West End. I wanted to be the next best visonary director. I wanted to make movies so amazing that people would talk about them years and years from now. I went to a small film school, grauated with honors. I was at the top of my game, or so I thought. I put together what I thought was a rocking demo real and sent it out, trying to get my name out there you know. But every one, every single one, said I needed more work, that I wasn't good enough.

 

So when that fell though I told myself "Just cool your heels. Lets make a short movie or music video. Send that out insted." What happened was I moved back in with my folks. I started working on ideas for my movie. My parents, however, wanted me to get a job, stop being lazy, so here I am.
 

I have been working here for two years now. I have got a TON of movie ideas and no money to fund them. I should be working projections or a manager, but because I'm not a kiss a*s like some people here, I'm still a lowly worker bee.

 

The managers here lack all kinds of common sence, everyone here has some sort of insanaty complex, and then there's me. My best bud here wants to be on America's Next Top Model or something, Mimi and Beth are sisters, and managers (which is the sorce of most isses round here), a Turkish manager who the local airhead thinks is a terrorist. So life around here can be a little crazy, but for the most part... I can't wait to quit this job.
