On this cold winter night

On this cold winter night

A Poem by Izzie Rohrer

Her footsteps are quick,
Her breathing is light
Running away
Into the cold heartless night

A hunstman follows
With a lean mean blade
Carrying out the deed of
her step mothers hate

She was once loved,
Held dearly in warm arms
'In her fathers protection
And healing warm smiles

Dead he is now, with her mother too
But never a tear was shed, for both the two

The Queen smiles evilly
With Hell in her eyes
The country soon learning
Who they despise

'Snow White, dear child,
Run far, far away
So that your may perhaps
Live another day

Your feet will carry you
To wildflower field,
Where you will hide from troubles
And all your worst fears

But you must come back
When the time is right
To take back the Crown
During a cold heartless night

It must be done
You know it is true,
But keep your innocence
It's your svaing virtue

Don't learn to hate,
But love every moment
Even the Woman,
Who destroyed your home

With lips red as blood,
Hair black as night,
Save yourself princess,
On this cold heartless night...
My dear dear Snow White.'

Thank you so much! I'm glad that you enjoyed it :)
Personally, I really love the tale of Snow White. I think you summed up what happened really well. What made you decide to write a poem about Snow White?

This is a really good take on Snow White, I can see the huntsman actually saying this to her. I see some spelling errors but other than that I think you did a good job putting it together.

Good Job
