Blue Eyed GirlA Poem by Christina SamoranoRomance; karma; and realization. She had once loved a boy who gave her his heart He pretended to love her and good he played the part. But what he didn’t know was she had built a wall So he tried and he pushed but she didn’t fall. She looked at him with her big blue eyes Said ,”I knew you were acting this whole entire time.” He looked at her with utter amazement Said, “well why didn’t you leave when you found out what I did.” A thin smirk spread across her teeth. She said, “because now you have fallen so deep in love with me.” He tried to deny it but the words wouldn’t form. So he thought about why he played girls before. This pretty blue eyed girl was the one he desired, But she ended it there for he was a liar. No matter the reason for loving this girl, She knocked down his wall and set his heart on fire. When he finally came to he searched for her scent, But it was then he knew what she had meant. He had hurt so many and she already knew. So when he tried to play her she made him believe it was true. What she did to him he had done to many, Now it was he who found sympathy. He closed his eyes as clear tears poured down his cheeks. Said, “I’m sorry to those whose heart has bled because of me." The blue eyed girl had heard his words, She came back to a boy who had once lived in his own little world. She stood in front of the boy who now had a feeling of sudden regret. He looked up at her from the palms of his hands and smiled as if he seemed to forget. He then remembered and pulled her close, Said, "you are the one I desire the most." At the end of his sentence she let him see her wings. He whispered, "you are an Angel sent to me." She wrapped her wings around the boy Said, "I had been waiting for you to see that I'm not a toy." He touched her feathers and looked at the sky. Said, "I love you my Angel and that... I promise is not a lie." © 2016 Christina SamoranoAuthor's Note
