What happens when you mix Jc, Chloe, and Mr. Fluffy? Hilarious Fun.

The plan was all set out. Yuki Bae was on her way right down town, and you know girls like her, they believed anything. The other day Teddy told her that if a black cat touched you, you were doomed for eternity to live an opposite life. In meaning? A: She’d be a poor girl living in a cardboard box with no friends.

Ha-ha. Yuki freaked when she heard that.

And Chloe and I had the perfect idea.

“Hand me the cat, Chlos.” I bugged over my shoulder.

We hid behind a brick wall, opposite of Yuki’s house. Chloe had our neighbor’s cat, Mr. Fluffy. After all, the old lady wouldn’t miss him for a moment right? And after our little fun we could easily return him back. And I mean, c’mon, how fast could a cat run anyway?

“Here.” She gave me Mr. Fluffy.

I petted his face and he hissed, clawing out. When he hit my eye, I instinctively dropped him. Taking the moment he had, he fled down the street.

“Grab him!” I shouted, and we leaped over the wall.

Both Chloe and I chased him down the street, and after ten minutes of running, the cat basically ran circles around us. We were exhausted. And I had to argue, I wasn’t out of shape, but it still didn’t mean I chased cats every day.

Chloe and I did rock paper scissors to decide who chased him, and I won with a rock and her scissors. She moaned, throwing her head back, and then arising again. I couldn’t help but chuckle as she stumbled down the road on tired legs. I swore she looked like a drunken lady looking for her car keys in the dirt.

“C’mere, Mr. Fluffy!” She leaped at him, trying to grab him before he dove under a car, and managed to mash her face into the rear end of it.

Picking herself up, she glanced at me over her shoulder, a bloody trail leaving her nose. “I think it should be your turn!”

“Nah! You’re doing great!” I smiled.

She had the nerve to flip me off and then chase the cat again as if she were my royal servant. I kicked back against a tree and sighed in relief watching my movie of Chloe’s attempt to catch the cat.

“Here, kitty, kitty.” Chloe cooed, but Mr. Fluffy didn’t want to answer. Instead he leaped up a tree and Chloe stood at the base, staring up at him. “You stupid cat! Get down here!”

Mr. Fluffy licked his paws and swiped them over his face, pretending she wasn’t even there. And I had to admit, this was pretty entertaining. Out of all my life had I not seen a funnier view of Chloe attempting to climb the large tree?

She couldn’t even wrap her arms halfway around its base let alone climb it. “Would it kill you to give me a hand?”

I started clapping and she turned around, stomping the road as she came my way. Looked like a three year old too. Lips tight in anger, arms folded over her chest. I always knew Chloe was the sweet child of the group.

“Get over here!” She grabbed my hair and pulled. “C’mon, we gotta return Mr. Fluffy to Mrs. Walker before she notices that he’s missing!”

“Ow, hey! Let go!” I pulled away and stood. “Fine, fine. I’ve had my fun.”

We ran back to the tree and I cupped my hands together to give Chloe a little foot help. She stepped on my cupped hands and stuck the other on the closest branch, and helped herself up. I watched as she climbed higher and higher, reaching closer to Mr. Fluffy.

That was, until he jumped down. Sadly, and actually pretty funny, Chloe didn’t notice, and I didn’t bother to yell up and tell her to stop climbing. The cat was on the ground now, next to the car before, licking himself again.

Chloe reached his branch where he was before. “Are you kidding me?!” She climbed onto it and groaned. “I have a better idea, Jc.”

“Mhm and what’s that?” I chuckled.

“We kill the cat and forget about Yuki.”

Just then, Yuki Bae exited her house and stopped short on the concrete. She was staring at us, cupping her eyes with her hands to stop the glare from the sun. I could’ve suggested using the sunglasses on her head for that, but hey, she didn’t really care enough to pull them down onto her face.

Yuki was one of the snobs at our school. Her daddy owned a big business that even Chloe couldn’t pronounce, and Chloe was usually good at that kinda stuff. Her hair was thick, brunette, and down to her waist. She usually had it with a different color of streak each month. This month it was red, a rather neon red-if there ever such is, then I guess I’m smart. Not with colors though, never with colors- and maybe one white one in the front. She wore a blue tank top with short-shorts and flip flips.

“What are you freaks doing?” She crossed the street, giving both Chloe and I weird stares, which was normal. “Looking for a squirrel?”

“Actually, getting a cat. A black one.” Chloe gave a painfully slow smile.

Yuki’s hazel eyes went wide. “Where?” She looked around as if expecting a rat to crawl up her leg. Her eyes fell upon Mr. Fluffy and she screamed, backing up. “Cat!”

Her little screech made Mr. Fluffy bunch up into a large ball of black fuzz. He hissed, slowly creeping towards Yuki. She backed up every so often the cat entered her bubble, and then finally fled to her porch.

“Don’t just stand there! Grab the cat!” She freaked.

“And what? Have my life turned upside down? Be a rich girl like you? You sure you could handle me hanging out with you?” I heard Chloe laugh in the tree.

“Whatever! Just grab it!” She squirmed in her spot.

I picked Mr. Fluffy up and he relaxed in my arms as I stroked the back of his neck. I avoided the top of his head, knowing that’s what started the whole thing.

“Looks like I’m going to be rich!” I spoke up to Yuki.

Chloe hopped down from the tree, slowly inching her way down. Her skirt was bunched up in the front from climbing down and she quickly fixed it back up when she joined me on the road.

We got Yuki good. Wasn’t the way we planned, but hey, when does anything usually go to plan?

And what do you know? I found twenty dollars on the way home.

When we returned Mr. Fluffy onto his porch, I heard Chloe fumbling around in her purse.

“Aw, well great. Now I’ve lost twenty bucks.” She grunted. “Man, today sucks.”
