A Poem by IWASNEVERTHERE

A lonely bird
Flying in an endless sky
The pain will end
Searching for a place called home
The absurdity of the thought
Imprisoned by its own freedom
An outcast
Seeing flocks fly by
If ever it was that simple
Singing unreplied songs
Unanswered screams
The passion it hides
What is this thing called loneliness?
A sole drop in an ocean of water
Thoughts diluted by misery
Fading into the abyss
Do you see me up there?
Flying my hearless wings
Exhausting my tired breath
How beautiful it looks
A picture of sadness
Misunderstood and alienated
I was always a shooting star
Falling into the pits of depression
The scars won't show
The beauty shields them from your eyes
Trust me they're there
Pained filled lullabies
If I hold my breath will I feel alive?
If I end it all today would anybody care?
Would anybody cry?
