The Christianity TaleA Poem by MaximusDepths Of Christianity's Tale.
In the beginning, a whisper stirred,
A voice, heard not by ear but heart, The Creator’s breath, vibrant and pure, Kindling a flame, a sacred spark. From the heavens, His word descended, Resounding like a melodious hymn, A symphony of grace, untamed and wild, Binding souls to a life within. The soil, once barren, now pregnant with life, Welcomed the touch of His gentle hand, From dust and clay, a masterpiece formed, Adam, God’s image in human land. A garden bloomed, a heavenly embrace, Where rivers danced and trees reached high, In harmony, Earth and man coexisted, Bound together by Love’s stark cry. For Love it was that drove man’s choice, To taste the fruit, forbidden and sweet, And in that moment, a world was changed, The serpent’s hiss, the sound of deceit. Cast from the garden, amidst despair, Humans wandered, adrift and alone, Yet the Father’s love refused to wane, A covenant written in tears and stone. Prophets arose, their words infused, With heavenly wisdom and holy dreams, Binding humanity to divine truths, Guiding the lost through murky streams. In the wilderness, a voice emerged, Crying in the desert’s barren waste, John, the baptizer, prepared the way, For the Lamb, bearing sin’s heavy paste. Jesus, the Christ, the Savior’s name, Healing the blind, giving voice to the mute, With loving touch, He restored the lame, Offering hope beyond life’s bitter fruit. A rugged cross on a hill so steep, Nailed hands and feet, a crimson flood, In anguish, Christ embraced death’s cold sleep, Pouring out His life, the ultimate love. But Love cannot be contained by death, For on the third day, the tomb was bare, With grace, He arose, triumphant and free, Conquering sin, dispelling despair. Now, the faithful gather, hearts ablaze, Transformed by love, spirits lifted high, United in worship, in devotion and praise, Bound by a faith that will never die. Through love, we find purpose, meaning, and truth, In loss, we discover strength to endure, In adventure, we encounter the divine, And nature’s beauty, our souls find sure. So let us journey through life’s wild unknown, Seeking God’s presence in every place, For in the depths of Christianity’s tale, We find redemption, love, and boundless grace.
