The Race Of Life.

The Race Of Life.

A Poem by Maximus
"

A Cycle That Will Never Be Done.

"
In the race of life we run,
From morning light till setting sun,
Each day we chase the fading light,
A cycle that will never be done.

From morning light till setting sun,
In search of dreams and battles won,
We push and strive, we fall and rise,
A cycle that will never be done.

Each day we chase the fading light,
With hopes of reaching new heights,
But as the night begins to fall,
Our dreams are dashed, like birds in flight.

A cycle that will never be done,
The rising moon, the setting sun,
We start again, we never cease,
In this race we cannot outrun.

We push and strive, we fall and rise,
Our struggles hiding in our eyes,
But through it all, we find our strength,
To face the race, and chase the prize.

A cycle that will never be done,
Through twists and turns we always run,
We learn to cherish every step,
And in this race, we find our fun.

The rising moon, the setting sun,
Our journey's end, it always comes,
But in our hearts, the race lives on,
As time keeps ticking, never done.
