A Poem by Maximus
"

Love, Life And Loss.

"
In love, we find both bliss and agony,
A tangled web of hopes and fears doth lie.
For when love's flame ignites within the heart,
A roller-coaster ride of life's grand art.

The tender touch that mirrors starlight's gleam,
The whispered words that make a soul supreme.
These fleeting moments, like a summer's breeze,
Can bring both warmth and leave one's heart to freeze.

But love, dear friends, is not the only game,
For loss doth leave our hearts in mourning's flame.
And when the cherished bond is torn apart,
We'll find ourselves adrift in sorrow's chart.

Oh, love, why dost thou bless and curse us so?
Yet still we pine for thee, our hearts aglow.
For in the depths of passion's sweet embrace,
There lies a truth, a beauty none can efface.

And in the realm of loss, we find a cry,
That echoes through the silence, reaching high.
For those we've lost, their memories remain,
In hearts and minds, forever to sustain.

The passage of time, relentless and swift,
May fade the colors, but not the true gift.
So let us mourn, let tears roll down like rain,
For with each drop, we cleanse our deepest pain.

Like Keats, who sought solace in nature's grace,
We turn to beauty as our hiding place.
For in the blossoms and the birds above,
We find glimpses of what we've lost, true love.

And as these mortal coils unwind their thread,
Let's honor those we've loved and now deem dead.
For life and death are tethered, side by side,
And in remembrance, their spirits abide.

So let us tarry not in sorrow's deep,
But carry onward, cherished memories to keep.
For love and loss, they shape our very core,
And in their intricate dance, we shall endure.

In love and loss, let us find our own voice,
To celebrate, and mourn, and then rejoice.
For life's grand tapestry, with all its strife,
Is woven with love's thread, our guiding light.
