The Fear Of Death.

This poetry describes the fear of death present in every human being.

In shadows deep, where fear resides,
A trembling heart, where darkness hides,
A mortal soul, with bated breath,
Whispers of fear, the fear of death.

Oh, how it haunts, this specter grim,
A constant reminder, life is dim,
The unknown abyss, where all must go,
A journey we fear, but cannot forgo.

In dreams it lurks, a silent thief,
Stealing peace, causing hearts to seethe,
A phantom presence, forever near,
Whispering doubts, instilling fear.

But let us not succumb to dread,
For life's true beauty lies ahead,
In every moment, a chance to live,
To cherish, to love, to freely give.

The fear of death, a relentless foe,
It grips the heart, won't let it go,
A shiver down the spine, a cold embrace,
A fear that time cannot erase.
