The Passion Of Christ.

The Passion Of Christ.

A Poem by Maximus
"

This poetry describes the true love and sacrifice that Christ made for us.

"
Upon the cross of Calvary, He bore our sins so great,
A sacrifice of purest love, to seal our holy fate.
Through pain and scorn, He did not wail, His faith in God so strong,
The Passion of the Christ, we sing, in every hallowed song.

His crown of thorns, His wounded side, His body bruised and torn,
Yet through it all, His love did shine, a new hope was reborn.
The Christ, our Lord, in agony, His spirit never broke,
His Passion tells a tale of love, in every word He spoke.

He died for us, His precious life, He willingly did give,
So through His death, we all may learn, in His grace to live.
His resurrection, proof of life, beyond the mortal coil,
The Passion of the Christ, a tale, that time shall never spoil.

So let us not forget His pain, His sacrifice so pure,
The Passion of the Christ, our faith, forever to endure.
In every heart, in every soul, His love shall ever dwell,
The Passion of the Christ, a story, we shall always tell.
