Aurora.

Aurora.

A Poem by PeaceOfMind

I was captured by your words
Held prisoner in your eyes
You meant the world
Even after all your lies

Your tricks and games
Were like a magic show
Although I was being played
I ended it with a slight bow

I felt grateful to you
For showing me this place
For taking me somewhere
Unknown to every face

Now I can lie, in my bed
Wrapped in darkness
And missing the warmth
Of those colourful lights.

This is one of your best, I felt strong emotions in each line, it's like the lines became alive and can speak on their own.

A journey of tricks, games, and lies...but entirely regretful... A intriguing piece...

I was captured by your words from the start.
