Each tear a memory, reminder of the time invested

each memory, reminiscent of sanity tested

tryna tell yourself they actually cared 

that to them your feelings mattered,

the thought of them with someone else,they wouldnt dare

yet in the end it was your heart shattered

splattered on the concrete yearning for the one who left it exposed and bare.
