My First Love

My First Love

A Poem by ItsTiff
"

Nothing ever compares to your first love.

"
From you i guess i tried to run
in search of something more exciting, something more fun

Just couldn't shake you no matter how I tried

Tried to tell myself you weren't that important

But to myself I lied

You've embraced me at my lowest

Listened to my cries and tears

There thru my bullshit, been down for years

Cradled me in your bosom, held me when my heart was broken

Always know what to say, perfect words spoken

There when others werent, you'll forever be in my heart

Pray you're here forever writing, here from the start

I agree your first love will always be apart of you. I could feel the hurt and frustration. The need to rid this feeling but it wont ever leave in a sense. I loved this poem cause it so relatable, every girl i guess must have been at this point in their lives. Nice poem, Tiff.

You should check out Evanston and Three Words on my page some time.
