Dear DaddyA Poem by ItsTiffWhen you don't know half of where you've come from you tend to have questions. Lots of them.
Dear Daddy,I'm your little girl.
Well technically not little, see its been 19 years I've been in this world. Don't know you, don't know if you know about me Spent a good of my 19 years wondering who the f**k you could be So many thoughts, much internal strife Throat strangled by questions regarding the other person who gave me life See everyone else knew or knows their fathers even if he wasn't around Just that thought of knowing him, that a relationship could be found Jealous of the other girls "daddy daughter days", and trips to the park Never got to experience that,no image of you, that space is still dark How I came to be ,not many answers surrounding the circumstances Green with envy at the girls who at their weddings'll have daddy daughter dances Just want to know what you look like, do I have siblings, where are you from Are you light are you dark, just want to meet you wondering will that day ever come -T.M
