My Own Worst EnemyA Poem by ItsTiffA lot of the time we hold ourselves back out of fear of failure. Essentially we're our worst enemy.
Im my own worst enemy, finally figured it out
Dont know if its my anxiety or my crippling self doubt. Petrified of failing,so i dont even try. Always better at that than succeeding, guess thats probably why Used to being called a dissapointment, internalized it, instead of taking it in stride For years its been etched there, festering inside. Used procrastination as motivation, which in turn turned into habitation Didnt deter my determination, but never put me in the best situation Hopefully tomorrow, 'cause i know not today That ill leave failure, make love to success and get out my own way. -T. 03/30/15
