Dirty BoyA Poem by Neisha AnnA poem about bullies and their victim.
Boy, look at your clothes.
Boy, look at your hair. Everybody knows. Boy, nobody cares. You're so dirty. Tommy tries so hard, he wants to hang with them, but they just won't accept him. He tries to do everything they do. Drink and smoke at parties that don't begin until after curfew. But, no, it's not enough. He don't have money to buy the same stuff. All the material things he thinks brings true happiness. iPods, cars, designer clothes, & designer glasses. Boy, look at your clothes. Boy, look at your hair. Everybody knows. Boy, nobody cares. You're so dirty. They know he lives in poverty, they just don't care. They know he has nobody, or clean clothes to wear. So everytime they see him, they look the other way. Little do they know, they'll regret it someday. Just because he doesn't have money, and he can't do his own laundry, they make fun of him. They don't see what it does to him. Boy, look at your clothes. Boy, look at your hair. Everybody knows. Boy, nobody cares. You're so dirty. The leader of the bullies, Mr. Jake Tulley, comes home one day to find his house empty. Feeling beat, he goes up to his room to get some rest. He opens his door, his heart almost leaps out his chest. His body losing all the feeling as he watches Tommy's dead body hang from the ceiling. © 2010 Neisha AnnReviews
