To My Daughters

I was never good at expressing my self to my daughters. I have strive to create a healthier relationship between them.

I've always felt like your Knight-In-Shining-Armor

Or your Super Hero in his finest hour,

Like the person you can turn to when anything goes south

Ready to take on the world in a forever Bout,

But I never really had the chance to tell you,

All the times the I've failed you or fell through,

Or how much you guys mean to me and keep me going

Like the wind carrying a leaf, it just keeps on blowing

Each one of you are unique in a very special way

And I will explain it all on this day,

Gabby, you really are truly special,

With a heart so big, a mind filled with potential,

Since you Gabbed you way into my heart,

I thought that would be a great place to start,

Isabel, so bold and strong no one can match

Your-your sisters protector, and that's a fact,

Let's not forget to mention, your silly laugh and jokes,

Every time I hear one, I almost always choke,

Mackenzie, my beautiful daughter

Just thinking about you makes my eyes water,

I will never forget the day you entered this world,

I kissed you all over and cherished you, my sweet little girl,

The pain I'm feeling hurts me beyond my core,

And I hate to say that I don't know what tomorrow has in store,

But one thing I know I am certain,

Is when you enter the real world and pull back the curtain,

Your all destined for greatness,

And can no one conquer that innateness,

You all are young, beautiful, bold ladies,

And yes you all will make these boys go crazy,

But don't rush wait until that time is just right,

Don't let anyone push you to do anything in spite,

Focus on yourself, your goals and what you aim to achieve,

Because in you three is all I have to believe,

I talk, I yell, I push but I know you can,

Don't ever let anyone dictate where you stand,

One fierce, One ferocious and One passionate child,

Sometime I think you were all birthed from the wild,

No one can with stand the storm you ladies will bring,

Hit them hard, Knock them dead, you all have fire within'
