Changes

Changes

A Poem by Andrea Celine G.

See that girl in the mirror?
She's lonely and broken now.
She's the joyful one before,
It happened let me tell you how.

You see, all people change,
Even if we don't want to.
I know for sure it is strange,
There's nothing we can do.

She changed but no one loved her,
She thought it would be good.
She always thought it would be better,
It was also for them, she understood.

Some people aren't open-minded,
You see they left her, not turning back.
They might've been so blinded,
How the rose-colored turned to black.

Unaccepted, that's what she is.
Now, people hate her.
Gone was her sheer bliss,
They don't know she's as precious as silver.

See life is so unfair,
Never let the hate control you.
We're all equal, don't compare,
Now, I tell you love will see you through.

She changed herself once again,
But this time she's sure it's for the better.
The love in her, she maintain,
Her life is now an open letter.

She brought her story everywhere,
To remind others that it's not too late.
Gone was her past nightmare,
Good things happen to those who wait.

Change goods with the betters
You'll be loved.
The things you do is what matters,
Love you're looking for you'll have.
