So slowly

In this state

So freely

Completely

Unaware

What lies ahead

Hold my hand

Caress my cheek

Whisper

That it's all okay

It'll always be okay

I believe you

Like I believed

The other promises

Drifting into

The mist

The abyss

Of unknowing

Will these promises

Be broken

Like all the others

Before you?

Or will you stay?

Will you really stay?

Can you truly manage

To fulfill these hopes

Can you erase my scars?

I live by this

Sensation

Wrapped in your arms

Falling asleep
