Watered Down

Watered Down

A Poem by Eli

Venomous,
Contemptuous,
Poisoning us,
Into the animus.
Adventurous,
Dangerous,
Through us,
Only pain.
Forgotten transgressions,
Repressed through shame.

Lackluster care,
Persistence stares,
What a dueling pair.
Those eyes keep their glare,
Throughout transparency,
With or without dependency.

Individualized,
Hypothesized,
Determination of realization,
Bleakly marginalized.

Watered down,
Seeds take root.
Rusted by the absolute.
Watered down,
Seeds take root.
Saturation,
Begins to convolute.
Watered down,
I can't see through.
Won't you help me,
Make it through?
Won't you help me,
Lay askew?
