Dream or Reality

Dream or Reality

A Poem by Eli

Deciphering between dream and reality,
Perpetual motion and abnormality.
This time it felt so real,
A bargain I'd like to steal.
But fate led me in an otherwise direction,
Another failure to a quick temper of corrections.
I held your hand,
Through an hourglass of passing sand,
Only to find,
I awoke in time,
To make no conclusions to understand.
Take me back without the sorrow,
Maybe I'll be led to you tomorrow,
A dream I leave in hope.
For the misery take me,
In a place I cannot cope.
