Lest We ForgetA Poem by Eli
Lest we forget,
The means to forge it. The walls come crumbling down, Shackles to shambles, Another forgotten ghost town. Repeated history, Story line misery, How much longer will it take, To reclaim loyalty in self, A revolving sphere about to break. Look beyond the periphery, Spirit realm alive all around me. Setting forth a path of solitude, Weaponizing blunted implements, Given to supply the multitude. © 2017 Eli |
