Desperation, love being lost.

Euphoric drops like heroin-
Warming rays of the sun,

Beaming over reality
Granting strength, nourishment and hope
Over powering- passionate flames

You burn me, you scar me.
My back to you, I will cast my own shadow.
I will create my own shapes.
Not a reflection, only truth.

Power over me?
I believed in power together
Light beyond years.
The sun needs the moon,
to see its true self.

I was feeling pretty desperate with my romantic situation, rebellious, yet dependent.

We are incomplete with out someone who matches us like the Sun and moon as you referenced. The first verse is highly descriptive and I loved it, I wonder what can over shadow passionate flames? I fear the second verse is like most relationships once the little love bug has lost it affects it seems everything turns sour and people grow apart. The last verse is wonderful too, it is more power in together than it is over anyone. Nicely written.
