The End of Our Beginning

The End of Our Beginning

I personally don't think this poem is that good, but maybe someone will like it. So, enjoy!

"

I remember the first time we talked over the phone
You told me you were like a therapist
Except you didn’t get paid to hear my problems and you cared

I remember you were afraid I would leave
I remember I trusted you
I remember when you first told me you loved me
You lied about everything

I remember you thought I didn’t feel the same way
I remember I did

I remember my feelings were true
I remember being in love with you
I remember you were speechless
I remember our first fight

I remember when you blew me off
I remember when your mother was sick
I remember when you were mad at me because I was there for you
I remember when we didn’t talk for a week
You didn’t miss me

I remember you didn’t try to be with me
I remember when you said you were sorry
I remember I forgave you
I remember when you were gone
I remember when you didn’t respond
I remember you made me cry
I don’t remember why

I know it's repetitive...very repetitive, so you can choose to ignore it if you want. Or, you can tell me about it in a review.

About
Hey! I'm Kirsten! I write mostly poetry, but for a while I was trying to write songs. It didn't really go quite how I planned so now, I stick to poetry. Most of my poems aren't really happy, so...that.. more..
