Your Disguise

Your Disguise

A Poem by It'sLexiB47

You took my trust

You were a romantic

You played with my heart

And you took it for granted

You used my love

As your distraction

Just using me

For your own satisfaction

I'm done with your games

I'm done playing

I'm tired of your lies

And the excuses you're making

I'm tired of trying

Cuz you're causing my dying

Your disguise isn't hiding

The lies I'm not buying

Now too scared to trust

I'm tired of being played

I can hope and I can pray

That he won't be the same way

Cool.
It seems like that you are trying to write about a past experience.

its a beautiful write with a nice rythym. it seems these days love is fading and lust is whats in. its quite unfortunate. still i see a beautiful girl in this poem who is tired of waiting for a real man to step up and show her some love. great write indeed, thank you for sharing!!
