The Song of Sanctus Insolitus-Terra

The Song of Sanctus Insolitus-Terra

A Poem by Israfel

I don't know if you ever knew

All the hell that I've been through

I don’t know if you ever cared

That I love every memory we shared

But you’re so far away

And with every new day

A new world approaches…

I keep trying to hide

All these feelings inside

Oh will it ever end?

I know it will not

For with every knot

I must find the key to it all

For a better path than The Fall

No one was there when I jumped the first time

That day Death married me, I lost rhythm and rhyme

I lost my soul, all hope of the life

On the pathway back to the light

Further and further down into Hell

I knew the seven deathly rings

And for all the things I did for you

They’re myth to some, but had you knew

You wouldn’t have it any other way…

I tore my flesh and drank seven pills

To sleep into my end

In calling your name it was reason to blame

Me for my insanity vanity vain

It was in this moment they gave me a place

Where my name was a number, my face was misplaced

The darkness consumed my everything and all I knew

Was that my seraph was suffering, for my torment grew

In the time of Earth’s decade I’ve danced on the edge

Infinite times with one sole pledge

I would only go through it an infinite time

For the one who could eternally love my mind

Your soul is waiting, I know you’re there

I know you’re watching, you plan and prepare

For the day I can say your name without question or fear

For the day I can tell you that I’ll always be here

COME BACK TO AELLANLIE

WE’LL MERGE THE REALMS

WE’LL LIVE AGAIN WITH LOVE AT THE HELM

And no matter what we do

How far away we roam

You and I, when our worlds collide, forever we’re home.
