Oh, Glorious mall...you!

Oh, Glorious mall...you!

A Poem by Isolophobe

Walking

people surrounding their surroundings

Jogging between stores to discover themselves

Talking

To a mannequin while holding her boyfriends hand

I wonder if she's enjoying being the only one conversing

Rehearsing

looking like their dead broke when window shopping

choking on their own misfortune they decided exist

Children

playing and procrastinating their maturation

parents stationed, observing their impatience

Furthering

his ego's self-loathing deeper into a well

or well, rather, lowering shirts to wash in the water

we're all here, feeding in on the atmosphere

it reeks of new clothes and yearning peers
