Dear Society,

Dear Society,

A Poem by Isolophobe

I've not much to say.

You've shown me time and time again

How pointless even attempting

To purport some sort of

Disagreement can be

I just think you

Should look at yourself

Once in a while

But thats not what I wanted to say

Everything you've taught me to need, you've taken away from me

And its fucked up.

Its not about life

Its not about god

Its not about wrong

Its not about right

Its about common

Logic

The empathy you have

Within each component of you

That is eaten up by

The impulsive and selfish

Side of you

We may eventually part,

But I won't speculate on that at this time

All I'm saying is

Give me something

I didn't sit in a womb

For 9 months

Begging and pleading

To actually get the opportunity to be born

This sort of

Just

Happened

So if you've got any sympathy

At all

Or the capacity to weigh

Hurt and Pleasure

Look at me

For just one f*****g second

Look at me

Help me

I'm now pleading

Begging you

I don't love you

I'm sorry, but you don't love me

And that much is obvious

But that doesn't mean you don't owe me

Anything

So my request to you

My only plea

Is to give me something

love

Fortune

Sufficient knowledge

An education

A reason to live

Friends I can talk to

Something

Something that you've taken

Or haven't given

Because you've been to busy

Calculating what I need most

In order to decide what to take

Next.

Sincerely, Chris
