Life

Life

A Poem by Isolation
"

This is my first poem. I hope you enjoy and I will take any critique.

"
This is a goodbye,
although not a good one.
This is my last stance,
my last fight.
I've fought this battle we call life
for to long.
Life has won,
I have lost.
Life beat me to a pulp,
life left me for dead,
life destroyed me,
life destroyed my happiness.
Life has won,
I cannot get up from this blow.

Maybe I should let life take me,
give up.
Maybe I should get up,
fight back.
Maybe I should lie here and weep,
give in.
Or maybe I should take my own life away from life,
die.
