Chapter 6: A Jealous Vendetta

Caedicia was rolling in and out of consciousness, she batted her eyes but struggled to keep them open. After about five minutes of this fearsome battle to stay awake she won. She saw her brother across from her, also tied up, she tried to move but she couldn’t. She realized whatever Rex had dosed her with  hadn’t worn off yet, she started to panic, she knew that if she panicked she would never get out of there. She collected her thoughts and tried to move her finger, she was instead able to move her whole arm. She wiggled to get out of the ropes which she was entangled in, she managed to free her arm she reached behind her and untied the knot. This knot was not a very good knot, she ran up to her brother and tried to untie him until Rex stopped her. Rex grabbed her left arm and twisted it, Caedicia let out a loud shriek,” OW! That hurts! Let go!” Caedicia would do anything for Rexilyn to let go but she twisted her arm even more until. SNAP. She broke her arm, she screamed so loud it seemed to have shook the building. Dashe ran into the building, Jax could see the outside world, he was able to breathe fresh air for just a second. Jax didn’t seem to be worried about his sister, he himself was rolling in and out of consciousness.

“WHAT THE HELL! I WAS TRYING TO SLEEP!” Dashe didn’t care that Rex had just broke Dicia’s arm, she was more worried about her ‘beauty sleep’. Dashe noticed that Jax was struggling to stay awake, she saw he was bleeding,” REXY, HE IS BLEEDING!” She collected herself,” Go call the medic, we need him alive. And tell that medic to fix up Caedicia, now GO!” She snapped at the end, Rex was visibly the less dominant in whatever twisted relationship that her and Dashe were in. 20 minutes had passed, Dashe screamed for the medic and Rexilyn. The medic ran in scared,”What the hell took you so long?!?” The medic never answered he just tended to Caedica and Jax like she never even existed. As he continued to tend to the wounded Rex became more and more angry at him,”Answer me!” He looked at Rex,” I’m sorry, my daughter needed me. Her sickness-” He was abruptly cut off by Rex,” I don’t care about your daughter you queer!”

The medic became offended,”Alright, I need you to leave, you are making me lose my focus.” He remained cam for the time being, until Rex left the building.

“I’m sorry about her. I’m Dayne by the way.” He let out a friendly smile to try and calm her down,”Alright, this is going to hurt but I need to move it in the correct place.”

“Wait, no!” Caedicia wasn’t able to finish her sentence before SNAP!,” OH MY F*****G GOD, WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU! I TOLD YOU TO WAIT YOU A*S!” She looked at Dayne straight in his eyes,” I’m sorry.”

“It’s quite alright, I get yelled at all the time,” he pulled out his wrap and a black cast for her arm.” what’s your name?”

“Please you have to help my brother! He won’t make it much longer!” She started to panic as he was falling a sleep. She yelled at him to stay awake. She ran over to him, she shook him violently until he opened his eyes just a little bit,” Oh my God, Jax! Don’t ever leave me! Please, I need you!” She started to cry uncontrollably, she was muttering useless prayers and demands.

“Jax, Jax! My name is Dayne and I am going to give you a shot okay, this will take away whatever pain you have. I will try everything to save you okay, but you have to keep those big blue eyes open. “ He was talking in a calming, fatherly voice. Jax managed to open his eyes and keep them open for a little while. After about five minutes his eyes clamped shut. In his mind he went back to the time when Caedicia was not there with him, when it was just him and Rex in the room together.

Jax woke up tied to a chair unable to move and speak, he realized he had been moved to a secure location. Jax became increasingly worried, he started to panic. He tried to release himself but he was tied down to the chair, he continued to struggle until he heard footsteps behind him,”Who are you?!? WHat do you want?!?” He called out to the figure that seemed to have disappeared.

“I’m no one important, that is unless you chose to see me that way.” The figure sounded female to Jax.

“I don’t understand how a female could manage to kidnap, torture and seperate a group of teens. Especially with 2 very strong dominant males, you could not have possibly done this by yourself!” Jax was being very sarcastic.

“Of course not, I’m just a wee little lass. How could lil’ ol’ me possibly abduct you and your trashy, weak, pathetic friends?” Rex got close to his face and grabbed the collar of his shirt, revealing her face Jax knew exactly what this was about.

“Rexilyn, what the hell are you doing? Why did you abduct me? Just let my friends go, they had nothing to do with this.” He sounded monotone as if he had no emotions anymore.

“You think that I’m going to let your s****y little friends go, your sister is dead ya know. No point in saving her now, because I killed her!” Her twisted red eyes seemed to have pierced Jax’s blue eyes straight into his soul.

“You didn’t kill her, you don’t have it in you! If you killed her you would have nothing on me, nothing ot make me do whatever you want.” Jax began to fight back with mean comments,”Now, you tell me what the hell this is all about!”

“Not quite, you have a visitor!” Rex looked over to Dashe bringing in Caedicia.

“YOU SON OF A BIT-” Jax was knocked out once again.
