This is what I write upon my heart

This is what I write upon my heart

A Poem by Island Hippy
"

for my husband, here's to another 10 years.

"

when I saw you
i knew that it was me
you came to find
by the smile that
was on your face

the pain in my heart
met the love in your eyes
and it melted away

when you whispered
the secrets of your soul
it was something
i had never known

every moment till the
world no longer turns,
could I repay you,
but I found a place to start

every day, every night
this is what I write
upon my heart

we both know we owe
love, we owe us
for the rest of our lives
i know I owe you me.

Aloha my ohana! Are you home now?? I hope all ok & Lani is with you & you are happy! This is a warm and lovely tribute to him and to the love you both share. "This is what I write upon my heart...I know I owe you me".....stunning lines. Intimate, adoring, honest. God always bless all three of you!

'Ae, (yes) they must always be sincere. I appreciate your generosity. Good night from me my friend.
I liked this poem. Many good statements would make a good title. I liked the journey and the hopeful ending.
