Summer sun sinking
Sleepy and low
We are waking

Beneath this moonlight
Fire & emotion
We are life in motion

Time is an ocean tonight
Without us it rolls on
Carving lines in my skin

We are dancing on the edge
Of tomorrow's sea
And the tide is in.

Moving from one moment to the next is never as daunting as when the moment you find yourself in is one you don't want to end. I love the feel of this piece, with emphasis on being on the boundary and an inability to change it, takes it into numerous meanings to the reader, but they all have a common thread, us, ever moving and never settling before the next change comes.
It really is beautifully written.
