A New Day!!

A few words to simply describe how one looks at a new day depending on the mood they're in.

I can smell the scent of a new day,

Birds awaken from their cold nests and flap their wings as they make their way.

Flying across the horizon above and below trees,

It get's chilly, new leaves unfold through this early morning breeze.

 

They sky lightens up, the strong smell of coffee fills up the room

I smile and groove to this song to forget about negativity and the gloom.

The world opens up another day as people wake up with a beautiful view,

I look to my right and up in the sky, a jet flies through.

 

The city lights turn off one by one,

I look down for early morning joggers I see none.

People still travelling in the adventure of their sleep

Dreams continue on slowly, before going in too deep.

 

My eyes grow weary, as I crave for rest,

Yet this song keeps me going and I feel a swirl of melody in my chest.

The clouds look so pleasant floating, so pure and carefree,

Might as well enjoy the morning of a new day and of what it’ll be.
