The Big Little Couple

The Big Little Couple

A Poem by Isla Rae

They ask nothing of the world,
the world asks much of them.
They give all, willingly.
Content with each others company,
living day to day, wanting nothing more.
Sandwiches by day, and cans of soup at night.
They are the biggest couple in the world,
for their smallest delights.
